Halfway Out of the Dark

FEAR
I am sometimes asked, "If the Illuminati really do exist, then why do they tolerate, for example, the existence of HONEST 'conspiracy' websites? Why don't they kill off everyone who exposes what is really going on?"
A partial answer was given in a previously published article, Why the Illuminati Reveal Themselves:
"Predators stalk their prey. They do not simply move in and take the kill. Whiffs of the scent of the stalker are permitted. Shades, shadows, unnerving shifts of position...the prey gets spooked. The generation of adrenalin overpowers reason. The prey can sense the oncoming attack. Panic besets the prey, during the moments of final approach. Defensive tactics are forgotten, as panic takes over. The prey makes a wild race for the exit, but the predators have already encircled every possible exit. The Illuminati see themselves as wolves stalking the sheep. They let out whiffs of their scent, generate shadows, perform deceptive motions, and generally aim to spook the prey."
As a teacher of English to Chinese adults, often our discussions of world affairs turn to issues of both increasing and potential global turmoil -- even global meltdown. Fear, as a human element, inevitably enters these discussions.
My students admit that they avoid the habit of considering the worst, because the fear that this awareness generates would interfere with their ability to proceed with their lives in a normal fashion.
I have had more than one student (and more than one friend) who has questioned how it could be that I am not overwhelmed by fear and anxiety, despite the fact that I pay such close attention to the negative strains in human affairs. They ask me, How much time should we spend each day, thinking about the "bad" things that could, or will, happen to us in the future, or that are happening even at this time, while still retaining our emotional balance and sanity?
I am not afraid, because I know that the emotion of Fear -- with all its many venues and forms -- is a thing that we humans bring into our interpretations of what is happening around us. Fear is something that we allow. It is something that we grab on to, and get addicted to. Through Fear, we blind ourselves, push ourselves, ride ourselves, and eventually, aim ourselves down some very bad roads of self-destructive decisions.
A nuclear accident does not generate "waves of fear". The hidden powers of wealthy and influential people do not generate fear. Ghosts do not generate Fear. A gun to the head does not generate Fear.
We generate Fear. We build it up, and fall in love with it.
What is Fear? Basically, Fear is an emotion that states, "You are going to lose something that you care about."
Nuclear accidents scare us, because we understand the thought, "You may lose your health and your life, and even your whole world."
A gun to the head scares us, because the potential for immediate loss of life and self is pending.
Even Love itself scares us, because we know that we must open ourselves to loss and failure in order to accept it fully.
If we allow it, Fear drives us to attempt to over-control our personal worlds. We resort to jealousy, envy, competition, greed, abuse, laziness, violence, depression, and murder. All such venues of thought and action are venues of Fear.
An overview of the state of the planet reveals that we are a species already controlled and directed by Fear.
Our global society is, overall, one of self-abuse -- that is, we are a species that has driven itself to thrive upon an addiction to cycles of Fear and false hopes. Control-by-Fear is made possible by means of Abuse. We are an abused species -- and we are addicted to our abuse, both our self-abuse and our abuse of others. Abuse is the primary producer of Fear.
In a way, Fear is the most common form of violence against what it means to be Human. Fear is a form of mind control.
People who are afraid do not know what to do. They are captured and consumed by Fear. They can't see clearly anymore. Often, they make bad choices, because everything resides within a fog of disconcerted emotion.
Abuse means "treating oneself, or others, in an unnatural way, in order to produce patterns of pain-and-relief that prove to be addictive."
Under conditions of abuse, our weaknesses are played upon. Abuse is, in essence, the fortification and manipulation of weaknesses.
Abuse produces pain. Abusers produce pain in their victims, in order to be able to offer a release for that pain. The release for the pain is couched in comfortable terms, intended to shroud the source of the pain in the first place. Then, the abused reach for the release, meanwhile thanking the abusers for their "sensitivity".
Then, the abusers produce a new condition of pain, and a similar means for obtaining relief. Over time, the abused become addicted to this cycle, because the pleasure of release is so relieving that they will put up with any pain that precedes the injection of the drug.
The obesity epidemic rocking the Western world, and the porn epidemic, and the computer game epidemic, and ever-widening narcotics use, and the breakdown in male-female natural relationships, each demonstrate further how unnatural treatment of ourselves, and others, have proven to be addictive. Addicts are easy to manipulate.
Producing a threat is the first step, putting people on their guard, suggesting a disadvantage:
"We will take your release away from you. You will no longer be able to be happy."
"Your money will be gone. Your life will be ruined."
"Your safety will ever be in doubt. You will have no peace."
"Your health will be endangered. You will suffer slowly, and die."
"Your sanity will be questioned if you do not conform to the social options presented to you."
"Your ethical legitimacy will be openly attacked and you will be punished, if you advocate discussion of forbidden topics."
And the kicker:
"We'll generate this all behind your back, while you roil, helpless, within the tidal wave of competing claims to the Truth."
There's nothing that addicts fear more than the loss of their sources of stimulation, stability, and 'personal happiness'. They will fight to keep those sources in play.
And, there is no greater evidence of the pervasiveness of Fear, in our world, than the production of logically reversed, extreme "liberal" thinking that is enforced both by law and by fear itself: the 'Right' Not to Be Questioned.
To wit:
You have no right to question the Natural Legitimacy of Homosexuality -- on the contrary, homosexuals have the right not to be challenged about their natural legitimacy.
You have no right to question the Published Scientific Establishment -- on the contrary, the Establishment, as it were, has the right to characterize your insanity, should you diverge.
You have no right to question details of the European Jewish Holocaust -- on the contrary, you have the right to see your life destroyed, should you decide to exercise what you had thought were your own rights to verbal freedom.
You have no right to characterize and weigh one culture against another, because you might hurt people's feelings, and God forbid that anyone's feelings should be hurt. Everyone has a right not to have their feelings hurt. We will fight to prevent that from happening.
Enough said. These ways of thinking are Fear-driven.
Fear is entirely artificial. Fear is literally a joke. It's a bad joke, but still a joke. Fear is darkness. Fear generates and perpetuates ignorance.
I am not afraid of the Darkness, because I know that the Darkness can never capture who and what I am. I am not controlled by Darkness and Evil. Within the space of our lives, we neither gain nor lose. What we do is learn who and what we are, and that lesson comes to each of us in entirely individual ways.
No matter how fearful and dark the world may become, and no matter how harried by seemingly inexplicable madness and emptiness the world may seem to have become, the powers of Light and Dark do not run themselves according to the schedule of your feelings. Fear is a dead end. It leads to inaction.
Love builds strength, and Honesty is our greatest power. When we are operating under conditions of real love and honesty, the best of who and what we are is brought forth, and strengthened.
Light has not been defeated. Keep that in your mind and in your heart. Make it the center of your soul. Nothing else will do.
Look straight at the Darkness, but do not fear it. Trouble is coming, it's true. Death is coming. Pain is coming, for all of us. Unfairness is coming. Imbalance is coming.
Let it go. All you really have is your choices, no matter who you are. Disrobe Fear, and what is left is what you really are.
If you love, and if you are truly honest, you have nothing to fear.
